Wood Tower

Revitalisation of an old city quarter (Gdańsk, Poland) We decided to refresh the medieval defensive system, by proposing brass 2-storey high gold double wall (with services in-between like: little shop/toilets) ending with a high sculpture-building (gallery of amber) that symbolizes old tower (called Wood Tower) that was one of the gates to the city (directly to the wood market). The quarter has been divided into 2 rows of buildings, calm and subdued which architecture is acting as a background for the main attention to be put on the land mark - Wood Tower.
